Year 3000 2.0 Lyrics Busted & Jonas Brothers

[Verse 1]
One day when I came home at lunchtime
I heard a funny noise
Went out to the back yard to find out
If it was one of those rowdy boys
Stood there was my neighbour called Peter
And a flux capacitor

[Pre-Chorus]
He told me he built a time machine
Like the one in a film I've seen
Yeah, yeah

[Chorus]
He said "I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they lived underwater
And your great, great, great granddaughter
Is pretty finе" (Is pretty fine)

[Verse 2]
He took mе to the future in the flux thing
And I saw everything
Boy bands, and another one, and another one
And another one
Triple breasted women swim around town
Totally naked

[Pre-Chorus]
We drove around in a time machine
Like the one in a film I've seen
Yeah, yeah

[Chorus]
He said, "I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they lived underwater
And your great, great, great granddaughter
Is pretty fine" (Pretty fine, hey)

[Bridge]
I took a trip to the year 3000
This song had gone multi-platinum
Everybody bought our seventh album
It had outsold Michael Jackson
I took a trip to the year 3000
This song had gone multi-platinum
Everybody bought our seventh album
Seventh album

[Pre-Chorus]
He told me he built a time machine
Like the one in a film I've seen
Yeah, yeah

[Chorus]
He said, "I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they lived underwater, yeah
And your great, great, great granddaughter
Is pretty fine" (Is pretty fine, yeah)

[Chorus]
He said, "I've been to the year 3000 (3000)
Not much has changed but they lived underwater (Not much has changed but they lived underwater)
And your great, great, great granddaughter
Is pretty fine" (Pretty fine)
He said "I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they lived underwater (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
And your great, great, great granddaughter
Is pretty fine" (She is pretty fine)

[Outro]
He said, "I've been to the year 3000 (I've been, I've been to the year 3000)
Not much has changed but they lived underwater
And your great, great, great granddaughter
Is pretty fine"

About Busted:–

Busted is a British pop-rock band that gained prominence in the early 2000s. The band was formed in 2000 and originally consisted of three members:

James Bourne: Born on September 13, 1983, James was the lead vocalist and played guitar.

Matt Willis: Born on May 8, 1983, Matt provided backing vocals and played bass guitar.

Charlie Simpson: Born on June 7, 1985, Charlie was the vocalist and played guitar.

Busted's music was known for its infectious pop hooks and humorous, relatable lyrics, which resonated with a teenage audience. They were part of the pop-punk and pop-rock wave that dominated the music scene in the early 2000s.

Their debut album, "Busted," was released in 2002 and became a commercial success, featuring hit singles such as "What I Go to School For," "Year 3000," and "You Said No." The album's success propelled the band to stardom.

In 2003, Busted released their second album, "A Present for Everyone," which also achieved commercial success with popular singles like "Crashed the Wedding" and "Who's David."

However, in 2005, Charlie Simpson decided to leave the band to pursue a more rock-oriented musical direction. This led to Busted's eventual split later in the same year.

After the breakup, James Bourne and Matt Willis formed a new band called "McBusted," combining members of Busted and McFly, another popular British pop-rock band. They enjoyed success as McBusted, touring and performing together.

In 2016, Busted reunited as a trio, with Charlie Simpson rejoining the band. They released their third studio album, "Night Driver," signaling a shift towards a more mature and synth-pop sound.

About The Jonas Brothers:–

The Jonas Brothers are an American pop-rock band consisting of three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas. The band was formed in 2005 and gained popularity through their appearances on the Disney Channel. Each brother has his own musical talent and role within the band:

Kevin Jonas (Paul Kevin Jonas II): Born on November 5, 1987, Kevin plays rhythm guitar and provides backing vocals.

Joe Jonas (Joseph Adam Jonas): Born on August 15, 1989, Joe is the lead vocalist and also plays the tambourine and keyboard.

Nick Jonas (Nicholas Jerry Jonas): Born on September 16, 1992, Nick is the youngest member and is responsible for lead vocals and playing various instruments, including the guitar, keyboard, and drums.

The Jonas Brothers released their debut album "It's About Time" in 2006, but it was their self-titled album "Jonas Brothers" in 2007 that brought them mainstream success. The album featured hit singles like "S.O.S." and "When You Look Me in the Eyes." They continued to gain popularity with subsequent albums like "A Little Bit Longer" (2008) and "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" (2009).

In addition to their music, the Jonas Brothers starred in their own Disney Channel original series, "Jonas," which aired from 2009 to 2010. The band eventually went on a hiatus in 2013 to pursue individual projects.

After a few years apart, the Jonas Brothers reunited in 2019 and released their comeback album "Happiness Begins," which featured the hit single "Sucker." The reunion was met with immense excitement from their fans, and they continued to tour and release new music.

The Jonas Brothers' music is known for its catchy pop melodies, relatable lyrics, and harmonious vocals. They have amassed a dedicated fanbase worldwide and have left a significant impact on the pop music scene, both during their initial rise to fame and with their successful reunion.
